Procedure
In an argon atmosphere, a mixture of methyl benzoate (1.0 mmol), trans-4-aminocyclohexan-1-ol (1.2 mmol), Zn4(OCOCF3)6O (1.25 mol % in terms of mole number) and toluene (1.7 ml) was heated to reflux for 24 hours, and as a result, trans-4-aminocyclohexyl benzoate was obtained at a yield of 99%.
