2-([1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridin-3-yl)quinolin-8-ol (0.25 g, 0.95 mmol), (R)-2-(2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)-2-methylpropyl 4-nitrobenzenesulfonate (0.41 g, 1.1 mmol) and cesium carbonate (0.62 g, 1.9 mmol) were added to minimal amount of N,N-dimethylacetamide and heated to 85° C. The reaction was cooled, ethyl acetate was added and the mixture was sonicated. Solids were filtered off and the filtrate was dried over MgSO4, filtered and evaporated. The crude material was purified on silica gel using isopropyl alcohol containing 2% NH4OH and DCM to yield 30 mg of the desired product (90% pure. The crude material was used without further purification in the next step.
