160 mg of 2-(cyclobutylcarbonyl)-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxy)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-6-carboxamide and 2 ml of a 0.1M solution of HCl in water in 2 ml methanol are stirred overnight at ambient temperature. The reaction mixture is evaporated and the residue is treated with acetonitrile. 53 mg of nearly colorless crystals are obtained. MH+=275.1
