Procedure
A mixture of 45 mg of 2-[(5-methoxy-1H-indol-2-yl)carbonyl]-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxy)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-6-carboxamide, 3 ml isopropanol and 3 ml of an aqueous, 0.1 N hydrochloric acid is stirred overnight at ambient temperature. The reaction mixture is evaporated and the residue is treated with acetonitrile. The resulting solid is collected and dried. 25 mg of a colorless solid are obtained with mp 156° C. MH+=366.0
