Procedure
A mixture of 80 mg of 2-(cyclopropylcarbonyl)-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxy)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-6-carboxamide, 3 ml isopropanol and 3 ml of an aqueous, 0.1 N hydrochloric acid is stirred 4 h at ambient temperature. The reaction mixture is evaporated and the residue is dissolved in a mixture of 0.5 ml water and 0.5 ml acetonitrile and lyophilized. 90 mg of the title compound are obtained as solid with mp=90° C. MH+=261.1
