A mixture of 6-amino-2-(2,2-difluoro-ethoxy)-5-nitro-N-(trans-4-trifluoromethyl-cyclohexyl)-nicotinamide (250 mg, 0.61 mmol), Ra—Ni (30 mg) and THF (10 mL) is stirred at rt for 2 h under a hydrogen atmosphere (3.0 bar). The catalyst is removed by filtration and the filtrate is concentrated.
