PROCEDURE

实验过程

The product obtained from Step C in 50 mL of CH2Cl2 is treated with 2 mL of SOCl2. The reaction mixture is stirred at room temperature for 2 hr. and then evaporated to dryness. The crude product thus obtained in 20 mL of CH2Cl2 is treated with ethyl 3-mercaptopropionate and triethylamine (1:1) for 16 hr. at room temperature. After evaporation of solvent, the crude product is purified by flash column chromatography to obtain ethyl 2-(3-(2-(3-(2-quinolinylmethyloxy)phenyl)-2-(carbethoxyethylthio)ethyl)phenoxy)acetate.
