To a slurry of 4b (401 mg, 1.7 mmol) in CH2Cl2 at room temperature was added NEt3 (0.47 mL, 3.4 mmol), followed by acetyl chloride (0.18 mL, 2.6 mmol). Once the reaction was complete by LCMS analysis, the mixture was concentrated and purified by silica gel chromatography (0-100% EtOAc in hexanes, followed by 10% MeOH in EtOAc) to give the desired product, 4c.
