Procedure
To a 0.050 M solution of 4-(8-bromo-6-(trifluoromethyl)quinazolin-2-ylamino)benzenesulfonamide (1.0 eq) in DME was added 2-fluoro-5-pyridineboronic acid (3.0 eq), (dppf)Pd(II)Cl2-CH2Cl2 (0.050 eq) and 2M aqueous potassium carbonate (8.0 eq). The mixture was microwaved at 120° C. for 10 min and then diluted with ethyl acetate and filtered through a pad of silica gel. The filtrate was concentrated to give the desired product which was used without further purification. ES/MS m/z 464 (MH+).
