3.5 g of potassium carbonate was added to a dimethylformamide (110 ml) solution of 6 g of methyl 2-fluoro-5-nitro-4-[(2-pyridinylcarbonyl)amino]benzoate and 3.48 g of 4-(ethylsulfonyl)phenol obtained in Reference Example 2, and stirred under heat at 80° C. for 30 minutes. The reaction liquid was restored to room temperature, poured into 300 ml of water, and the formed solid was taken out through filtration. This was dried under reduced pressure to obtain 7.46 g of the entitled compound as a yellow solid.
