325 mg of 6-chloro-3-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-[1,2,4]triazine (see Example 1.7 b) are placed in 10 ml of acetonitrile; 230 mg of 3-chlorophenol and 190 mg of potassium carbonate are added and stirring is carried out at room temperature for 2 h. The reaction mixture is then poured into water and extracted with ethyl acetate; the ethyl acetate phase is concentrated and the crude product is purified by means of flash chromatography. In this way the title compound having a melting point of 132-137° C. is obtained.
