Procedure

A solution of Example 261b (1.76 g, 2.88 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (30 mL) was treated with trifluoroacetic acid (3.32 mL, 43.1 mmol). The mixture is stirred at room temperature for 3 hours and concentrated to give 2.34 of the title compound as trifluoroacetic acid salts.
