A mixture of 3-(4-bromobutyl)-1-thia-3-azaspiro[4.5]decanone (2.7 g), 6-chloro-1,2-benzisothiazol-3-yl piperazine (2.0 g), K2CO3 (2.2 g) and NaI (200 mg) in acetonitrile (100 ml) was heated at 80° C. for 8 hours and the product was processed in substantially the same manner as in Example 10 to afford 1.557 g of solid, m.p. 202°-205° C.
