A mixture of N-[6-(6,7-dimethoxy(4-quinolyloxy))(2-naphthyl)](phenylmethoxy)carboxamide (Step b, 170 mg, 0.35 mmol) and Pd/C (17 mg, 10%, Aldrich) in 60 mL of EtOAc was stirred at RT under H2 balloon for 16 h. The mixture was filtered through a Celite® pad. The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound as an off-white solid. MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 347.0 (M+1). Mass Calc'd for C21H18N2O3: 346.13.
