A solution of 3-(5-amino-2-methylphenyl)-6-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-3,4-dihydroquinazolin-4-one (0.165 g) in DMF (0.5 ml) was added to a stirred mixture of dibenzofuran-4-carboxylic acid (0.1 g), diisopropyethylamine (0.164 ml), 2-(7-azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-1,1,3,3-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate(V) (0.214 g) and DMF (0.5 ml) and the reaction mixture was stirred at ambient temperature for 16 hours. The mixture was diluted with water and the resultant solid was isolated, washed in turn with water and diethyl ether and dried under vacuum at 55° C. There was thus obtained the title compound (0.228 g); NMR Spectrum: (DMSOd6) 2.07 (s, 3H), 2,25 (s, 3H), 2.5-3.3 (m, 8H), 7.55 (m, 7H), 7.83 (m, 4H), 8.12 (s, 1H), 8.21 (d, 1H), 8.34 (d, 1H), 10.59 (s, 1H); Mass Spectrum: M+H+ 544.
