A solution of product from Step A (1.14 gm, 4.0 mmol) and allyl bromide (0.5 mL, 5.5 mmol) in dimethyl sulfoxide (8 mL) containing potassium carbonate (0.75 gm, 5.4 mmol) was warmed at 60° C. for 15-20 hours. The reaction mixture was poured into water and the product was extracted into ethyl acetate, dried (Na2SO4) and evaporated to give a viscous oil (0.92 gm).
