To a solution of (S)-4-chloro-6-((1-hydroxypropan-2-yl)(methyl)amino)pyrimidin-2(1H)-one (700 mg, 3.22 mmol) and triethylamine (1.35 mL, 9.65 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (THF) (20 mL) was added methanesulfonyl chloride (0.508 mL, 6.43 mmol) at 0° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 16 h and concentrated. Purification via Prep-HPLC (column: YMC-Actus Triart C18 150×30 mm; 2 M NH3 in methanol) afforded the title product.
