The product of Step B (645 mg, 1.63 mmol), DCM (8 mL), TFA (3 mL) were stirred at room temperature for 2 h and then concentrated in vacuo. The residue was dissolved in DCM and treated with Dowex 550 A resin. After stirring for 2 h the resin was removed by filtration and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to a colorless oil which was taken on to the next step without further purification. MS (ESI) mass calculated for C16H18N4O2, 298.14; m/z found, 299.1.
