Procedure

6-Methane sulfonyl-7,8-dimethyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazin-3-ylamine (W1.130; 1.0 g) was dissolved in DMF (30 ml) and admixed with potassium cyanide (405 mg). After stirring at 100° C. for 1 h, the mixture was dried. The residue was stirred in EA and chromatographed using a short silica gel column with EA. Fractions concentrated by rotary evaporation. 560 mg of the title compound were obtained.
