The title compound was prepared analogously to 3-(1,3-dimethyl-2,4,10-trioxo-1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10-octahydropyrimido[4,5-a]indolizin-5-yl)benzonitrile (Example 9 steps 1-7) by replacing 3-bromobenzonitrile (step 3) with 1-bromo-3-fluorobenzene (commercially available) and methyl 4-bromobutanoate (Step 5) with methyl 4-bromo-3-methylbutanoate (Intermediate T).
