Procedure
LiOH (0.5 mL, 0.5 mmol, 1 M) was added to a THF (1.5 mL) solution of 43 (14 mg, 0.033 mmol). The mixture was stirred overnight at 60° C., allowed to cool to room temperature and then quenched by addition of 1 M HCl (10 mL). The mixture was extracted with CH2Cl2 (3×15 mL) and the combined CH2Cl2 solution was dried (Na2SO4), filtered and evaporated to leave the title compound (13 mg, 0.031 mmol, 95%).
