To a suspension of 4-(benzyloxy)-1-(2-cyclopropyl-3-methylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-6-yl)pyridin-2(1H)-one (50 mg) in EtOAc (3 ml) was added 4 M HCl (EtOAc solution) (0.067 ml), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 h. The resulting solid was collected, washed with EtOAc, and dried in vacuo to give the title compound (44.0 mg) as a white solid.
