A mixture of 4-bromo-1-(2-cyclopropyl-3-methylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-6-yl)pyridin-2(1H)-one (30 mg), 1-(5-chloro-2-thienyl)methanamine (20 mg), tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium(0) (2.0 mg), cesium carbonate (57 mg), 4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)-9,9-dimethylxanthene (3 mg) and DMA (0.4 ml) was heated at 120° C. for 1 h under microwave irradiation. To this mixture was added water, and the precipitate was collected by filtration. The resulting solid was recrystallized from EtOAc-hexane-EtOH to give the title compound (8.6 mg) as a yellow solid.
