To a solution of crude compound 78 (2.67 g, 3.1 mmol) in acetone (30 mL) were added 2-bromoethanol (0.33 mL, 4.63 mmol) and K2CO3 (640 mg, 4.63 mmol) at 0° C. The mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 15 hours. The mixture was filtrated and concentrated in vacuo. The resultant was partitioned between EtOAc and water. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to provide the product 79 (2.68 g, 95%).
