Amide Coupling Reaction: To a solution of 2′-methyl-5′-(pyridin-3-yl)biphenyl-4-amine n (40 mg, 0.15 mmol) in DCM (3 mL) was added EDC (85 mg, 0.45 mmol) and 3-methylisonicotinic acid (40 mg, 0.3 mmol). The solution was stirred at room temperature for 6 hr before it was concentrated and chromatographied to give Compound 20 (50 mg, 88%).
