In analogy to the Mitsunobu-procedure described in example 1, step f], (2S)-2-ethoxy-3-(4-hydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-phenyl)-propionic acid methyl ester (example 51 e]) was reacted with 2-(2-tert-butyl-5-methyl-oxazol-4-yl)-ethanol (example 1, step e])) in the presence of tributylphosphine and N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl azodicarboxamide to yield (S)-3-{4-[2-(2-tert-butyl-5-methyl-oxazol-4-yl)-ethoxy]-2,6-dimethyl-phenyl}-2-ethoxy-propionic acid methyl ester as colorless oil.
