A mixture of 560 mg of 2-benzyl-1-methoxymethyloxy-4-iodobenzene (Production Example 4), 5 ml of 2-pyrrolidone, 90 mg of copper iodide (I), and 400 mg of anhydrous potassium carbonate was heated under stirring under nitrogen atmosphere on an oil bath at 140° C. for 8 hours. Aqueous ammonia was added to the reaction mixture, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. Then it was successively washed with water and brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and then evaporated, to give 505 mg of the title compound.
