Procedure
40 ml of liquid ammonia are introduced into a three-necked flask, followed by 380 mg of the product obtained in Step C dissolved in 10 ml of tetrahydrofuran. The mixture is cooled to −50° C. and 100 mg of sodium are introduced in several portions into the reaction mixture. After 15 minutes' contact, 430 mg of powdered ammonium chloride are introduced in fractions. The reaction mixture is left to return to room temperature. After removal of all the ammonia by evaporation, the residue is taken up in water, extracted with ether, dried and concentrated to obtain the expected product.
