A mixture of 61.4 (0.19 mmol), 7.5 (62 mg, 0.16 mmol), and Cs2CO3 (155 mg, 0.48 mmol) in DMF (1.6 mL) was stirred overnight at room temperature. The mixture was diluted with EtOAc, washed with water and brine, dried (Na2SO4), and concentrated. The crude product was chromatographed on silica gel (25-50% EtOAc/hexane) to afford 61.5 (76 mg, 54%) as a white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.31 (d, 1H), 7.69 (d, 2H), 7.64 (d, 2H), 7.35 (m, 2H), 7.28 (m, 4H), 7.21 (m, 2H), 7.11 (d, 1H), 6.98 (d, 2H), 6.16 (d, 1H), 5.22 (s, 2H), 4.78 (dd, 1H), 4.64 (m, 1H), 4.16 (m, 2H), 4.05 (dd, 1H), 3.56 (dd, 1H), 3.22 (dd, 1H), 2.78 (dd, 1H).
