A mixture of N-{2-[5-(chloromethyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]-1H-indol-7-yl}-N-methylthiophene-2-sulfonamide (150 mg), triethylamine (150 μL), hexahydropyrazino[2,1-c][1,4]oxazin-4(3H)-one hydrochloride (135 mg) and N,N-dimethylformamide (2 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 3 hr. Water was added to the reaction mixture, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The ethyl acetate layer was washed with saturated brine, dried (MgSO4), and concentrated. The obtained residue was subjected to silica gel column chromatography to give the title compound (85 mg, yield 45%) as a colorless amorphous form from a fraction eluted with ethyl acetate. MS 544 (M+1).
