Procedure
The procedure of Example Ib was followed using 8 g. of the 5-(1-phenoxypropyl)-2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole (prepared above) and 100 ml. of ethylacetate saturated with phosgene. Topping and removing of the phosgene resulted in a glassy, orange residue of 5-(1-phenoxypropyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl isocyanate dimer (10.9 grams).
