Procedure

Compound 13 (25 mg) was dissolved in DMF (1 mL) and NaH (5 mg) was added. The mixture was stirred for 1 hr, followed by addition of 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl chloride hydrochloride (10 mg). After being warmed to 45° C. for 2 hrs, the solution was concentrated and the residue was purified by flash chromatography [silica gel, DCM:MeOH/9.5:0.5] to afford 13 mg (42%) of the desired product. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.72 (d, 1 H), 8.35 (d, 1 H), 8.18 (d, 1 H), 7.92 (s, 1 H), 7.15 (dd, 1 H), 6.80 (d, 1 H), 5.01 (d, 1 H), 4.45 (t, 2 H), 3.95 (m, 1 H), 2.80 (t, 2 H), 2.32 (s, 6 H), 2.15 (m, 2 H), 1.80 (m, 2 H), 1.70 (m, 2 H), 1.45 (m, 2 H), 1.30 (m, 2 H). MS (ESI) m/z: 365 (M+H)+.
