Procedure
2,4-Dichloroquinazoline (0.657 g, 3.3 mmol) in ethanol (9 ml) was treated with 3-amino-5-cyclopentyl pyrazole (0.5 g, 3.3 mmol) and triethylamine (0.46 ml, 3.3 mmol) and stirred overnight at room temperature. The mixture was filtered and the solid washed with ethanol to give (2-chloro-quinazolin-4-yl)-(5-cyclopentyl-2H-pyrazol-3-yl)-amine as colourless crystals (684 mg, 66%).
