Procedure

A solution of (2-{3-chloro-5-[(2-diethylcarbamoyl-ethyl)-isopropyl-carbamoyl]-phenoxy}-ethyl)-pyridin-4-yl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester trifluoroacetate (0.06 g) in a mixture of dichloromethane (2 ml) and trifluoroacetic acid (1 ml) was stored at room temperature for 3 h and then concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a colourless oil (0.043 g).
