Procedure
(2S,4R)-5-Biphenyl-4-yl-2-methyl-2-(tetrahydropyran-2-yloxymethyl)-4-[(1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carbonyl)amino]pentanoic acid (100 mg, 0.2 mmol) was combined with 1-hexanol (0.3 mL, 2 mmol) and 4 M HCl in 1,4-dioxane (0.3 mL, 1 mmol). The mixture was stirred for 2 hours at 60° C. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by reverse phase chromatography to yield the title compound (51 mg). MS m/z [M+H]+ calc'd for C28H36N4O4, 493.27. found 493.
