{5-[1-(Cyclopropylmethyl)-4-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-benzotriazol-5-yl]-6-fluoropyridin-2-yl}methanol (20 mg, 0.055 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (0.36 mL), cooled to 0° C. and treated with triethylamine (0.023 mL, 0.16 mmol) followed by methanesulfonyl chloride (4.7 uL, 0.060 mmol). The mixture was warmed to room temperature and stirred until complete, at which time the mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with sodium bicarbonate (2×5 mL, aqueous saturated). The organic layer was dried with sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo, providing the titled compound.
