To a mixture of #104 (2.00 g, <2.58 mmol, 1 eq.) in dichloromethane (6 mL, 0.4 M) was added a solution of #103 (483 mg, 2.16 mmol, 1 eq.) in dichloromethane (2 mL) followed by diisopropylethylamine (1.35 mL, 7.73 mmol, 3 eq.). The reaction mixture was stirred for 16 hours, then adsorbed onto silica and purified by silica gel chromatography (Gradient: 0% to 20% methanol in dichloromethane) to give #105 (1.67 g, 83%) as a white foam. Fractions containing the desired product with impurities (0.571 g) were collected separately.
