Procedure

Using the procedure in Example 2, methyl 3-chloro-4-(3-(2-methyl-2-phenylpropyl)-7-(n-propyl)-6-benz[4,5]isoxazoloxy)propylthio)-phenylacetate was saponified with LiOH to form 3-chloro-4-(3-(2-methyl-2-phenylpropyl)-7-propyl-6-benz[4,5]isoxazoloxy)propylthio)phenylacetic acid.
