The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 7 using 2-methoxybenzaldehyde and N-tert-butylhydroxylamine. The title compound was isolated in 82.9% overall yield as white crystals, m.p. 109.1° C. (Rf=0.53 on a silica gel plate using ethyl acetate as the eluant).
