Procedure
Intermediate 17 (45 mg, 0.09 mmol) was dissolved in DMF (1 mL), and then diisopropylethylamine (75 μL, 0.44 mmol) and HATU (51 mg, 0.14 mmol) were added. The reaction mixture was stirred at RT for 30 minutes, then N,N,N-trimethylpentanediamine (63 mg, 0.44 mmol) was added, and stirring was continued for a further 18 hours. The reaction mixture was partitioned between EtOAc and water. The organic layer was separated, and the aqueous layer extracted with EtOAc. The combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4) and evaporated in vacuo. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel chromatography eluting with a gradient of 0-10% (2M NH3 in MeOH) in DCM to give the title compound as a white solid (44 mg).
