Intermediate D6 was prepared following the same procedure implemented for the synthesis of D4, using as starting material 1-cyclopropylmethyl-4-hydroxy-1H-pyridin-2-one which was prepared by the same method used for the synthesis of intermediate D2, by reaction of 4-benzyloxy-1H-pyridin-2-one with cyclopropylmethyl-bromide.
