Procedure
A solution of lithium hydroxide monohydrate (146 mg, 3.48 mmol) in water (6 mL) was added dropwise to a suspension of 5-[3-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-5-methyl-3H-[1,2,3]triazol-4-ylmethoxy]-2-methyl-2H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester (600 mg, 1.74 mmol) in THF (6 mL). The reaction mixture was then stirred at room temperature for 2 h and was then evaporated and the residue dissolved in water, acidified with HCl (1N), and the resulting precipitate filtered off to afford the title product (544 mg, 95%) as a white solid. MS: m/e=330.2 [M−H]−.
