A mixture of 4,6-dichloro-2-pyrimidinamine (500 mg, 3.09 mmol), 2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amine (500 mg, 3.78 mmol) and triethylamine (2 mL) in NMP (3 mL) was heated to 160° C. for 2 hours in a BiotageInitiator® microwave synthesizer. The reaction mixture was evaporated and purified by SiO2 chromatography eluting with 1:3 petroleum ether/THF to afford the title compound (700 mg) as a yellow solid. LC-MS (ES) m/z=261 [M+H]+.
