1-(6-Fluoro-pyridin-3-yl)-3-(4-methyl-pyridin-3-yl)-imidazolidin-2-one (30A: 0.1 g, 0.00036 mmol) in 5% HCl (10 mL) was added into the reaction flask and the flask was heated to reflux at 100° C. overnight. The reaction was monitored by TLC (10% MeOH in chloroform. The reaction mixture was basified with NaHCO3 solution and extracted with chloroform. The organic layer was washed with water, brine solution, dried and concentrated to afford 72 mg of the product (98.96% yield).
