To a solution of Example 120B (100 mg, 0.41 mmol) in ethyl alcohol (3 mL) was added chloroacetone (0.036 mL, 0.45 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at reflux overnight, then 2 mL of 2N aqueous HCl was and the mixture was stirred at reflux for 4 h.
