Procedure
A mixture of 17.65 g (0.05 mol) of triphenylstibine and 9.31 g (0.05 mol) of methyl p-toluenesulfonate was heated in a 130° C. bath with nitrogen bubbling through the melt for 18 hr. The resulting syrup was cooled to an amorphous glass which was crystallized by treatment with ether. The resultant crystals were collected and dried.
