Sodium hydride (60% in mineral oil, 38 mg, 0.95 mmol) was added to 10-chloro-1-methyl-3,8-dihydro-4H-[1,4]oxazepino[6,7-e]indole (Intermediate 40, 45 mg, 0.19 mmol) and benzensulfonyl chloride (74 μl, 0.58 mmol) in DMF (3 ml). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 10 minutes before water was added dropwise. The crude material was purified by preparative HPLC (XTerra C18, 50 mM NH4HCO3 pH 10-CH3CN) to give the title compound (15 mg) as a red solid. MS m/z 375 [M+H]+.
