Procedure
To a solution of 15.3 (0.62 g, 1.40 mmol) in a mixture of THF/CH3OH/H2O (10 mL, ratio=2/2/1), was added LiOH.H2O (1.17 g, 28 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction was neutralized with 1N HCl to PH=2, extracted with ethyl acetate twice, the combined organic layer was washed with saturated brine, dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was used without further purification. MS EST (pos.) m/z: 387.1 (M+H)+.
