A mixture of 5,6-dihydro-4H-cyclopentathiazole-2-ylamine hydrochloride (400 mg, 2.27 mmol), 1-adamantanecarbonyl chloride (540 mg, 2.72 mmol), 4-dimethylaminopyridine (100 mg, 0.82 mmol) and triethylamine (632 μL, 4.54 mmol) in 30 mL of THF was processed according to the method of Example 1A to afford the title compound: MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 303 (M+H)+.
