Protocol T was followed using 4-Chloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-ylamine, K2CO3, 2-Chloro-1-[4-(4-chloro-phenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-ethanone and DMF. Column chromatography using a solvent mixture (hexane/ethyl acetate=1/4) afforded the title compound as a colorless oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): 7.18-7.22 (d, 1H), 6.78-6.84 (d, 2H), 4.8 (s, 2H), 4.4 (s, 2H), 3.72-3.82 (m, 4H), 3.08-3.18 (m, 4H), 2.14 (s, 3H).
